Creative Consignments Contract

How it works :

We selectively accept consignments the first 21 days of each month. Please check your items for stains and damage before bringing them in. Clothing and accessories must be in season. Freshly washed, neatly folded, buttoned, zipped and in a bag or basket. No clothes on hangers. Shoes need to be clean with soles wiped down and in “like new” condition. Items must be free of any smells such as moth balls, body odor, smoke etc. We do not accept items with any animal hair or excessive pilling.

We will go through your consignments while you are in the store. It’s first come, first served so please be patient. We have no limit to the number of items that you may bring at one time and no appointment is necessary. If you have a large number of items, then it is recommended that you call ahead.

Your consignments will be displayed for 2 months. During that time, it is your responsibility to check in on your account. We will not contact you. You may visit or call the store to check in on your account. Your pickup date will be 2 months after your items are entered into the computer. You may use any store credit you have at any time, or we can write you a check for items that are sold after your consignment period is up. Your account will be considered inactive after two years of no activity and any funds left in the account will be forfeited. If you would like a check mailed to you, a $1 postage and handling will be deducted from your consignment account.

Creative Consignments will determine the price of your consignments. Consignment pricing is approximately 30%, or lower, than current retail pricing. Price is determined by many factors including, but not limited to current trends, condition of the item, style, label, fabric and online seasonal sales of that label. We price items on a case-by-case label. Each item is unique. Please feel free to ask any questions about the pricing of any label during the time of drop off period.

Consignors will receive:

* 75% of the selling price for items was price at or above $500
* 50% of the selling price for items we price at or above $75.

* 40% of the selling price of mid to high end labels. Examples are North Face, Patagonia, Lulu Lemon, L.L. Bean, Banana Republic, Loft, 7 for All Mankind, Free People, 360 Cashmere, R13, Lulu Lemon, Frye, Aviator Nation, J. Crew etc….

You are not obligated to retrieve your items from Creative Consignments. If you opt not to retrieve items by your expiration date, then they will become the property of Creative Consignments. At which point, you will not receive credit for those items sold after your pickup date. Creative Consignments then has the right to donate, resell or repurpose them.

We also reserve the right to deeply discount or donate to charity any consigned items due to imperfections, stains, rips missing bead/buttons, broken zippers, missing hooks etc…. It is our passionate mission to keep these items out of landfills.
